Job Description
RESEARCH AND INNOVATION OFFICE
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) collect, organise and maintain research data from various sources;
(b) create and maintain databases, repositories and other information systems for research data storage and retrieval;
(c) provide support in planning and execution of assigned projects;
(d) prepare regular reports and presentations summarising research information for management and stakeholders;
(e) collaborate with other stakeholders to gather research information and requirements; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Research and Innovation or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognized degree in Information Science, Data Management or a related discipline;
(b) have at least five years of relevant post-qualification work experience in research information management, data analysis or a related field, preferably gained from higher education sector;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex research information;
(e) have good organisational and time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
(f) be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders; and
(g) be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Form, Power BI, etc.
Preference will be given to those who have experience in handling Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) related matters.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
