Job Description
Department/ Hospital: Department of Pharmacy, United Christian HospitalPay: HK$23,486 – HK$27,789 per monthUp to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:1. Provide administrative and clerical support for the daily operation of the department.2. Handle correspondence and documents including receiving and sorting mail, preparing checklists and staff duty rosters, and performing data processing / analysis.3. Use and maintain IT system/tools to facilitate the above duties, including webpage, database, simple programming4. Assist in procurement including product sourcing and purchase requisition.5. Assist in receiving and checking delivered drugs, medical gases, pharmacy equipment and consumables.6. Assist in performing and maintaining the inventory of pharmaceutical items, supplies, furniture and equipment and to perform related store duties.7. Assist in handling and managing vouchers.8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:1. University Graduates with experience; OR2. Has completed F.5/ S.5 with:(a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:(i) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjectsOr equivalent;AND diploma in a specialized function AND relevant experience
Preferred Attributes:1. Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. Email, Internet/ Intranet etc.) and PC applications (MS Excel, Words & PowerPoint).2. Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement.3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.4. Ability to motivate and lead a team of junior staff.5. Able to work independently and under pressure.
