The Department

The Wagering Products (WP) Division is responsible for driving the wagering business strategy and results for the Club through the wagering products of Horse Racing (Local and Overseas), Football, Mark Six lottery and International Commingling with the aim to drive wagering turnover and revenue growth in a socially responsible and sustainable manner.

The job holder reports to Senior Manager, Programme and Operations. S/he is responsible for providing support to the governance and programme management of a Strategic Project. He/She is required to assist the Senior Manager in preparing all the necessary project and product documents for management review and approval, provide regular updates of status to stakeholders and ensure compliance with established standards and processes in completing the planned deliverables on time and within budget. In addition, s/he will work with procurement team and stakeholders to provide support to the procurement process and vendor management planning for product and platform readiness.

The Job

You will:

• Support and coordinate with different stakeholders for the delivery of the Strategic Project through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting;
• Work with different stakeholders to escalate, manage, and resolve project risk/issue through effective project management, communication, and issue resolution so as to ensure compliance with established standards and processes in completing the planned deliverables on time and within budget;
• Work with procurement team and stakeholders to provide support to the procurement process and vendor management planning for product and platform readiness;
• Provide support to the governance and standards of the Strategic Project;
• Prepare and update documents such as templates, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, status reports, and project plans for regular reporting;
• Assist the Senior Manager in preparing all the necessary project and product documents for management review and approval;
• Be responsible for the maintenance of the standards of project management and process;
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's business;
• Undertake other duties as assigned by Head of Wagering Product Management

About You

You should have:

• A bachelor degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Proven track record in business analysis and project management in Waterfall and/or Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical, logical, presentation, and problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Good project management and facilitation skills
• Excellent interpersonal sensitivity and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and serve as a strong team player with good written and oral English 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Experience in Project Management Tools (e.g. Confluence and JIRA) is an advantage.
• Professional project management certification is a plus
