Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on packaging materials, formats, and design considerations for pre-launch projects in the personal care and health supplement industries
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate packaging materials (e.g., plastic, glass, metal, paper/board) based on product requirements, manufacturing processes, and cost considerations
• Conduct package testing and validation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and customer specifications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and procurement teams to address packaging-related challenges and drive continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest packaging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive packaging specifications, Bill of Materials, and other technical documentation
• Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on packaging-related topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Packaging Technologist or in a similar role, preferably in the personal care or health supplement industries
• In-depth knowledge of various packaging materials, formats, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on the personal care and health supplement industries
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products through effective packaging solutions in the personal care and/or health supplement industries
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for the personal care and health supplement industries
