Job Description

What you'll do:

• Lead overall group finance function including accounting, treasury, internal control, consolidation, etc. for HKPC Group in Hong Kong.
• Act as a financial controller to drive controllership in business practice. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Leader of the accounting COE to provide advice to business and functional divisions on accounting treatment and finance practice. Supervise finance team to ensure efficient financial closing cycle, budget control and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Manage the team to prepare consolidated annual financial statements on a timely basis. Lead annual audit exercise and liaise with auditors and other professional bodies to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. 
• Oversee and act as the process owner of the FICO module of SAP system.
• Participate and contribute to new system implementation exercise, aiming at streamlining finance and business processes.
• Support other projects / assignments as determined by the management

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from disciplines such as Accounting, Financial Management, and Business Management, or equivalent.
• Over 12 years of solid experience in financial accounting/ controllership of which at least 2 years fulfilling a leading position.
• Qualified accountant with HKICPA, or equivalent. Well-acquainted with HKFRS in particular, HKFRS15 in business consultancy practice.
• ERP system knowledge with SAP implementation is a plus.
• Experience in government funded projects an advantage.
• Hands on, result-oriented, detail-minded, responsible, able to work under pressure, pro-active and organized individual with good interpersonal and influential skills to work with all levels of stakeholders.
