This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Project Manager (PM) to manage and lead the planning and implementation of IT projects for corporate IT Systems; Manage project schedule, resources and risks to ensure all projects are delivered within planned time, scope, quality and budget
• Manage the applications development works, testing quality (like business websites) for supporting 2RS extension to 3RS and manage the inter-dependencies of related systems
• Manage key stakeholders and multiple vendors for application enhancement, and system integration to ensure the business requirements are met for Corporate project development
• Review the security design of multiple system interfaces access to ensure the compliance with the Authority's IT Information Security Policy
• Plan and manage overall programme testing and acceptance activities
• Act as Technical Support Leader (TSL) for monitoring and nursing the related applications
• Work closely with vendors and IT backend support teams for overall technical design and resolving project issues
• Manage and monitor the vendors’ performance for carrying out the project works, and performance

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 6 years IT working experience and with 3 years project experience in managing multiple stakeholders and revamp projects. Substantial experience in project management in projects with multiple systems integration or software deployment is preferable
• Possession of Certificate in Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or Agile Methodology is preferred.
• Good knowledge of web development, content management system and system integrations utilizing JQuery, RESTful API, JavaScript Object Model, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML5 will be an advantage
• Understanding of and experience in infrastructure architecture and awareness of information security models, information systems, network, SAN, virtualization
• Experience in Cloud services set up (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in Private, Public and Hybrid Clouds (e.g. AWS, Azure)
• Experience and knowledge in system development/delivery methodology             
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill with problem solving technique
• Multi-task and manage several projects concurrently
• Able to adapt to changes to meet business challenges
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
