We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in Office for Advancement of Learning and Teaching (ALTO):

Systems Analyst (ALTO) (Ref: 24001GZ) 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying new systems and mobile apps;
• Administering, maintaining and enhancing existing systems and mobile apps;
• Providing technical support to end users; and
• Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Advancement of Learning and Teaching and his/her nominees.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A recognized Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
• At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in programming and web systems design;
• Solid experience in web application development with Lotus Script, Node.js, PHP, JSP/Servlet and EJB;
• In-depth knowledge of HTML5 markup languages and scripting languages such as Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, React and CSS3;
• Hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native and Unity and familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal will be an advantage; and
• A good command of English.

Candidates may be invited to attend in a trade test.
