About the role

One of the largest US sourcing companies specialized in household sourcing and productions with 25000 staff globally. With recent fast growing in their retail business in US HQ hence significant growth in revenue. They are further investing in expanding the vendors network in PRC and offshore. The Strategic Sourcing team is now hiring a Junior Sourcing Specialist to support the strategic sourcing in China and SEA and vendor management. 2-3 years of relevant experience working in sourcing or trading office is required. Monthly salary HK$ 20-22,000 and guarantee 13 months + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for vendor sourcing and support the price negotiation with PRC and offshore vendors
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on the delivery, production scheduling and QA issues
• Conduct continuous evaluation and support on vendor performance and alignment of resources including KPI measurements and buying program
• Works closely with Supply Chain & Logistic departments, QA departments and HQ Buying teams
• Conduct market research & analysis covering the trends, buying portfolio, segmentations and competitors' analysis

Requirements

• Diploma or above
• Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in suppler sourcing for household/ relevant hardgoods
• Good knowledge in US retail market and experience working in Sourcing/ Trading offices
• Vendor management experience working with vendors from PRC and SEA
• Flexible, well organised, detail minded and strong problem solving ability
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential
