Responsibilities:

• Manage the analysis of financial performances and financial positions under IFRS / Solvency II Pillar III basis for both Life & General Insurance
• Prepare presentation materials for financial performances and financial positions and present to senior management and Head Office
• Manage the submission for profitability, balance sheets and other financial related schedules in accordance with the Group requirement and timetable
• Manage the CFO sign-off process for both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III basis
• Manage annual audit and interim review
• Manage actual, budget and forecast process
• Streamline the reporting preparation process of both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III basis
• Participate in other ad hoc special projects and provide technical accounting support as required

Qualifications:

• University graduate in finance or related disciplines
• Certified or chartered accountant, or associate or fellow of recognized actuarial professional bodies is preferred
• 4 years’ working experience, experience in finance function or insurance industry is preferred but not a must
• Advantage if some of the experience gained from Big 4
• Solid knowledge in IFRS, with knowledge in IFRS 17 - Insurance contract and IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments is preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent English and Chinese
• Good analytical skills
• Strong planning, organization and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience/knowledge in Solvency II Pillar III reporting / IFRS 9 & 17/ Life or General Insurance would be an advantage
