Role Introduction

Reports to: Digital Workplace Product Sr. Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Products and services within the portfolio and deliver product enhancements/updates within sprint cycle
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Portfolio managers and Scrum Team for feature releases and/or enhancements
• Acting as a single point of contact for Business Units from End User Support groups
• Engage with support streams and work independently to address critical issues for BAU and projects
• Design life cycle processes including the recommendation, deployment, standardization, maintenance, and replacement of current and emerging PC/End User technologies
• Engage with software and hardware vendors to address complex issues and develop strategic roadmaps for lifecycle management
• Remain current on emerging and innovative technologies for end user computing
• Accountable for developing High Level Architecture that define the target architecture for new services in End user areas
• Contribute to create and update technical documents and Knowledge articles on a timely basis
• Maintain an awareness of developments and best practices, and adapt and apply new and appropriate ideas for continuous service improvement
• Work closely with the business teams to identify potential gaps and mitigating on a timely manner

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience and understanding of End User technology architecture including infrastructure, security, data, network, devices, and collaboration
• Strong insights and market awareness (technology and industry) with understanding of emerging disruptive trends in End User/Workplace service streams
• Deep understanding of Product management process, approach, tools and technologies
• Extensive experience of Windows 10/11 upgrade projects and/or SOE uplift activities
• Experience of integrating Office 365 or other cloud-based offerings into desktop environments
• Good understanding of workplace authentication services such as Active Directory, Group Policy
• Good understanding of the features and security components of Windows desktop operating systems - Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Experience of working with multiple End User Device types such as desktop, laptop, tablets and Mobile Devices with in-depth knowledge on Hardware and software components including standard Accessories
• Experience with SCCM (Current Branch version) and exposure to modern workplace technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Hybrid desktop management would be added advantage
• Experience with managing Macintosh platform via Jamf and proficiency with MacOS 
• Experience with managing Microsoft Teams Rooms based conferencing systems including hardware and system components/accessories
• Experience in working with desktop encryption and security products such as Microsoft Defender, BitLocker, DLP with exposure to enterprise security compliance and governance practices
• Experience of desktop management tools and awareness of software packaging lifecycle process
• Understanding of Agile framework and experience of working in sprints for Product PVT management
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling the presentation of complex technical solutions
