Here at Digital Domain, our Autonomous Virtual Human team creates photorealistic, fully autonomous virtual humans powered by a variety of AI/ML and real-time tools. We are building a product to sell as a cloud-based, scalable solution for businesses who need virtual humans to help augment their workforce in a variety of ways. The applications of this product include healthcare, retail, customer service, entertainment, and much more.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to help us build out our Autonomous Virtual Human product on the cloud. Responsibilities will include the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of related services.

Responsibilities:

• Front-end: Architect, develop and maintain a robust, cloud-based platform that integrates Unreal Engine sessions with a modern client web portal following industry best practices. Ensure the platform supports real-time, high-fidelity video transmission with minimal latency.
• Backend: Develop and Maintain Web API: Lead the design and implementation of a developer-friendly Web API, enabling seamless integration of our product into client websites. 
• Infrastructure: Work closely with a dedicated team of software engineers to refine and enhance our existing software architecture. Focus on achieving cloud optimization, ease of deployment, and scalability to ensure our infrastructure can support our growth ambitions and technological advancements
• Maintenance: Support and maintain our products after their launch both from an infrastructure and software perspective.

Requirements: 

• B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• 2-3 years relevant experience in cloud-based platform, Web API, etc.
• Strong experience with Python, and Flask for backend development; proficient in Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks and libraries. 
• Solid experience with AWS as your preferred cloud platform, focusing on scalability and availability.
• Experience with near real time web communication technologies such as WebRTC or WebSockets.
• Practical experience with Docker or Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Familiarity with C++ and Unreal Engine.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipeline.
• Graphic design and UI/UX skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Chinese; proactive, self-starting attitude with the capacity to take ownership within a dynamic, agile team environment.
