Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the department, including Project Team and Policy Servicing Team, to achieve company’s mission and goals
• Ensure smooth operation of all Policy Servicing processes, full compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to agreed service levels and guidelines
• Continually improve policy service procedures, policies and standards for the department
• Coordinate and manage policy service related projects and initiatives
• Identify key trends, benchmark the market and take a leading role to consult stakeholders on matters relating to customer experience
• Prepare and Implement short-term and long-range plans to the department to best achieve company’s mission and goals
• Identify and address staff training and coaching needs
• Coordinate and prepare timely and detailed reports on key performance on a regular basis and operating budgets according to the goals and expenses
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably in Insurance, Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in life insurance policy administration or operations
• Minimum of 8 years managerial experience
• In-depth knowledge in life insurance operations and strong ability to communicate and influence at all levels with leadership experience
• Good time management, task and result-oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with organized and logical thinking
• Highly organized self-starter, with the ability to lead multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
• Capable to work in a fast-paced team environment and work under pressure
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data analytical skill
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
