Company Description

Our client is looking for Senior Project Manager (E&M) responsible for overseeing their international school campus portfolio and new projects in Asia. This role requires extensive experience in project management, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems. 

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing project progress, budgets, safety, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, tracking all aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, budgets, and risks.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contractor and supplier relationships, evaluating performance and addressing any issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on M&E systems and integration.
• Business travel and site audit within Mainland China and Asia as required to visit project sites and attend meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on sizeable commercial projects in China.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing M&E systems and integration.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
