Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Accounting Manager and supervise the team in performing daily accounting functions
• Handle general accounts tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closing
• Communicate between various departments
• Oversee daily Accounts Payable transactions
• Participate in preparing monthly journals, financial reports, inter-company, bank reconciliations, expense schedules and analyses
• To prepare and assist supervisors in monthly audit schedules, and provide appropriate follow-up actions
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports and financial analyses to management
• Perform business and financial analysis, budget control and forecasting
• Liaise with auditors for external and internal audits
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Degree in finance/accounting or equivalent qualification
• Over 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills
• Proficiency in using MS applications, including high skills in using Excel
• Mature, good communication skills and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
• Positive work attitude and ability to work under pressure and be a team player
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Accounting Officer
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics O365 is a plus
• Immediate availability is preferred
