The Company is moving into the Hong Kong Science Park at Shatin in August. We are pioneers in the design and development of cutting-edge wearable electronics for health and wellness applications. We are seeking a Chief Researcher to lead our team. 

Ninenovo is an innovative technology company seeking an exceptional Chief Researcher to guide our cutting-edge R&D efforts. As the Chief Researcher, you will be responsible for spearheading the strategic direction of our research portfolio and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. In this pivotal role, you will:

Lead a Dynamic Research Team
- Assemble and manage a team of talented researchers/engineers and scientists
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and career development opportunities
- Foster a collaborative, cross-functional environment to drive breakthrough innovations

Steer the Research Agenda
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and scientific advancements in wearable health devices
- Define the long-term research roadmap and priorities to maintain our competitive edge
- Secure funding, partnerships, and resources to support the execution of ambitious research projects

Deliver Groundbreaking Innovations
- Oversee the design, prototyping, and testing of novel sensor systems, algorithms, and user experiences
- Lead the development of cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning capabilities
- Ensure our research outputs translate into high-impact, commercially viable products

The ideal candidate will possess:
- PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in research and development of wearable devices, sensor technologies, or digital health solutions
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary research teams and delivering impactful innovations
- Deep technical expertise in areas such as analog/digital circuits, signal processing, machine learning, and user-centered design
- Experience with writing patents
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically, anticipate industry trends, and translate research into tangible business outcomes
- Passion for mentoring and developing high-performing research professionals
- Strong publication record and recognition within the academic and industry research communities
