Job Description

About The Role

Reporting to the Vice President Sales and Marketing, the Group Director of Global Sales is responsible for leading and managing the global sales team to drive revenue growth and expand market share. This role involves strategic planning, overseeing global sales operations, and developing relationships with key partners and clients.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead the global sales team, setting targets, and providing mentorship to ensure team members are effectively contributing to the company's goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and stakeholders across different regions.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the brand and products.
  • Monitor global market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee, develop and activate the use of company-wide programmes and tools related to the sales process
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee the management of global sales budgets, forecasts, and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on global sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in sales, with a significant portion in a global or international context.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a global market.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to different time zones.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is preferred
