Job Description - Consultant (Anaesthesia) (KEC/U206/24)
No. of Vacancies: 1Department/ Hospital: Department of Anaesthesiology & Pain Medicine, United Christian HospitalPay: HK$198,776 to HK$250,605 per month (including Monthly Allowance) [HGPS Pt.50 to Pt. 51B]Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Undergo continuing medical education and professional development.
1. Registered medical practitioner under the Medical Registration Ordinance; and
2. Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) or equivalent; and
3. Registered in the Specialist Register in the relevant specialty of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure
1. Staff members in the rank are expected to meet the 4 core competencies set for the Consultant post. They are:
(i) Functional competency.
(ii) Personal competency.
(iii) People and team competency.
(iv) Organization effectiveness.
2. Holding the trainer status of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists is preferred.
3. Contribution to professional development including research, teaching and training.
