Job Description

Responsibilities
 

  • To lead the manpower resources planning team to develop a comprehensive rostering system and manage resources planning effectively that complies to department growth. To constantly monitor daily roster assignment according to operational requirements and business model changes. 
  • To effectively oversee and manage the manpower resources team, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • To develop a comprehensive manpower resources strategy including budget modelling that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • To regularly review and evaluate the resource plan, making necessary adjustments to meet changing demands and optimize efficiency.
  • Determine and communicate staff capacity and establish rosters for PSD operational staff.
  • To proactively identify areas for improvement in the allocation of manpower resources and implement appropriate measures, ensuring recommendations are made to optimize staff utilization, achieve high productivity, and reduce idle time.
  • Manage resource planning analysts and real-time analysts based on flight schedules and airline requirements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Create new and innovative forecast and capacity models to plan for future demand, growth, and channel duty shifts in accordance with flight schedule requirements.
  • To provide guidance and support to the manpower resources team, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • To continuously monitor and analyze data related to resource allocation, making data-driven decisions to optimize workforce efficiency.
  • To maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure seamless execution of the resource plan.
  • To remain compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies in all aspects of manpower resource management.
  • To regularly report to senior management on the performance and effectiveness of the resource plan, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • To work closely with the training team and operations department to develop an effective manpower resource planning strategy.
  • To collaborate with the training team to identify and address any gaps in skills and competencies within the workforce.
  • To carry out any other duties as required and directed by the Company.

Requirements
 

  • At least 3 years related Experience in preferably in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of passenger services operations and procedures
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the aviation industry
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages
  • Immediate available is preferred
