Job Description
Applications are invited for appointment as Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.:527362), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage). Good interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Application (including Words and powerpoints) are required; The application should be meticulous and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and they are expected to work independently and under pressure. Experience in handling administrative matters or secretarial support would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the senior management team of the Centre in various areas including general office and secretarial administration, human resources and finance administration, training/event organization, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Director. Applications with relevant research centre experience will be priorities. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
