Responsibilities:

• Assist a team of economists with conducting qualitative and quantitative research on Hong Kong and mainland China topics
• Conduct comprehensive searches for global macroeconomic data and market information as necessary, supporting researchers in developing insightful market analysis and forecasts
• Draft simple reports on survey findings and undertake preliminary assessments on assigned research subjects
• Assist in data calculating based on instructions from the economists
• Aid in managing Hong Kong trade data

Requirements:

• A university degree, preferably in economics, finance, business or a related discipline with a solid foundation in statistics
• Proficiency in SPSS and skills in Microsoft Excel
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• 0-2 years of relevant experiences

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
