Overview:

We are looking for a Service Availability Analyst with expertise in data center operations to ensure the uninterrupted availability and performance of critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the availability of our data center services, ensuring seamless operations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the availability and performance of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and facilities.
• Analyze data center metrics and performance indicators to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues affecting service availability.
• Collaborate with data center operations teams to investigate and resolve service availability incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively detect and mitigate potential service availability issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and playbooks for data center operations and incident response.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for data center availability issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve data center availability through process enhancements, automation, and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data center operations or a similar role, with a focus on service availability.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and facilities.
• Experience with data center monitoring tools and systems.
• Knowledgeable in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Relevant IT certifications in Data Centre, ITIL, Cloud, ISO, are highly preferred
