Accountabilities and activities

• Working with the business owners to document the end-to-end processes for both HK Insurance and Health Services under the Integrated Management System (“IMS”) Project. Ensure the project is completed within agreed time frame.
• Provide support to the business in all aspects of process documentation and risk management.
• Identify process, risk and control improvement opportunities and contribute ideas to further uplifting the process through change of workflow, digitalisation / automation. Work closely with the IMS team, Transformation Team and business owners to drive the process improvement initiatives. 
• Responsible for pro-active engagement to communicate process improvement areas and discuss the methods and solutions required to achieve process improvement.
• Contribute to the provision of all required reporting to the regional office and within the Business Unit.
• Complete Bupa training as required, and attend arranged training and information sessions in order to maintain knowledge of regulatory obligations. Individual reading may be required in order to understand the regulatory environment and obligations.
• Other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Assurance and Operational Resilience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process improvement/risk management in financial institutions (preferably within insurance industry).
• Highly organised, result driven self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying length concurrently.
• Good data analytical skills. Prefer to have experience using data analytics tools e.g. PowerBI.
• Excellent skill in visio.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese with ability to present articulately with appropriate level of gravitas.
• Prefer to have qualification in six sigma or equivalent qualification.
