Senior Merchandiser (Hardgoods/Electrical)
Our client is one of the most reputable and awarded retailers in the international business market. They are currently looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join the company.


Job Description:

• Collaborate with Buying Teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies for specific sub-categories.
• Develop and execute ASO (Advanced Sourcing Optimization) strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
• Identify, assess, and manage suppliers, ensuring their qualification and performance meet standards.
• Conduct regular visits to factories for product development and to foster supplier relationships.
• Lead new product development and enhance existing offerings for gardening products within assigned categories.
• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for product ranges under your responsibility.
• Ensure timely order execution and oversee artwork development for designated areas.
• Manage critical path order processes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise closely with Quality and Supply Chain Management teams to address shipment issues effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members to support company strategies.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of a non-degree tertiary education required.
• Min 4 years of relevant work experience in sourcing/buying within consumer products.
• Strong network in sourcing.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities; experience in managing subordinates preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Proficient in both verbal and written business English, fluency in Mandarin is necessary.
• Capable of working independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized, and eager to learn.
• Strong attention to detail, effective organizational, coordination, and planning skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office and Exchange.
