Job Description

Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation is dedicated to driving philanthropic impact for a brighter future and creating opportunities for the family to engage in philanthropy together through a unified vision, multi-mission model. Our current missions focus on promoting happy family relationships and empowering youth to build their future by improving their mental wellness and psychosocial competence.

The Foundation advocates for the concept of “Prevention before Sickness” in healthy family relationships. We believe that by raising awareness building and taking preventive actions early on will help foster a caring and harmonious community where healthy families can thrive and unlock their potentials. Ultimately, this benefits the overall wellbeing of the community.

 

RESPONSILBILTIES 

 

Development and Governance

  • Represent the Foundation in person and through written and verbal communication to promote family philanthropy mission, with advice from the Foundation Board.
  • Identify the services gap and philanthropic needs in the market and set the strategies, goals, and action plans for the Foundation with the advice from the Foundation Board.
  • Consolidate and provide latest information regarding the philanthropic sector and foundation oversight to the Foundation Board and Advisors.

 

Project Management

  • Plan and develop charitable programs, social responsibility campaigns and events with affiliates and potential partners to fulfil the mission and goals of the Foundation.
  • Conduct research, onsite visit to the organisations and identify potential projects and assist to process funding applications. 
  • Organise pitching for the Foundation Board to select and approve potential projects.
  • Monitor approved projects to ensure they meet the set objectives and achieve the expected impact. 
  • Propose, copy-write and proof-read all online/offline promotional collaterals of the Foundation.
  • Develop the strategies and work plans for projects to optimize the goals of the Foundation.
  • Present the project updates to the board in all Foundation Board and working meetings.

 

Operation

  • Oversee the administration of all grants and ensure the accurate keeping of all necessary records, files, forms, communications, and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the branding and reputation of the Foundation and support the team and coordinate all the marketing events and programs, social media, reports, and materials.
  • Assess subordinate’s performance and provide necessary coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leader(s) related to the success of the Foundation and Family Function Unit.
  • Oversee the Foundation’s functioning within appropriate legal and fiscal constraints.

 

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience particular in social service and marketing.
  • Experience in people management, provide leadership and guidance.
  • Strong copywriting, proof-reading and presentation skills. 
  • Individuals who are open-minded, proactive, creative, independent.
  • Strong initiative, mature and committed to work, and has strong interest and passion in philanthropic work.
  • Strong analytical skills, stakeholder and project management skills.
  • A good team player who is highly flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough thinker with an ability to view things from a helicopter view.
  • IT literacy including MS Office and Mac Application
  • Thorough knowledge of Google apps and other cloud-based software.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
