Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Product Manager, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The appointee will join the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24H), a start-up company incorporated by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) that is led by senior faculty members of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at HKU, and work in a highly motivated inter-disciplinary team to develop mobile applications, cloud computing solutions or other AI-enabled computational solutions for our multiple healthcare related projects in the R&D team.

About the Project:

To develop cross-platform health-related Web&App to:

• collect health data from external devices and third party api;
• analyse multiple domain health data with advanced AI techniques; and
• provide health recommendations with appealing images and text corresponding to health information database.

Responsibilities:

• To analyse user requirements, and design appealing and user-friendly platform;
• To understand AI techniques and user experience in online platforms such as App and websites;
• To look for appropriate vendors and assign specific tasks to vendors, and monitor vendors to meet the specification and project timeline;
• To collaborate with App&Web developers and external partners to jointly develop novel products; and
• To plan and maintain product roadmaps to improve the products based on user feedback, business impact, and technique enhancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Data Science or other related disciplines with more than 7 years of relevant working experience;
• At least 5 years’ experience in Web/App product management;
• Proficiency in utilising design tools such as Axure, Mockitt, Sketch, or Figma to create prototypes for web and mobile applications;
• The following experience(s) is highly desirable:
  • SDK and API engineering and/or cloud computing;
  • Medical or health related product development; and/or
  • Visual art/graphic design/cartoon creation, UI/UX;
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience in collaborating with software developers and vendors; and
• Self-motivated, organised, and be able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
