Spearhead the implementation of end-to-end data warehouse, data catalog, and business intelligence (BI) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Analysis & Design: Analyze business requirements and document technical designs and specifications.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Participate in all aspects of solution design, implementation, and support, with a primary focus on data modeling for the Data Warehouse and its Data Catalog. Secondary focus on ETL data integration and BI tools.
• Development: Develop solution components using AWS services, including Redshift, DynamoDB, Lake Formation, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, SNS, and CloudWatch, when necessary.
• Automation & Integration: Automate and integrate system data exchange through APIs.
• Vendor Management: Manage vendors, ensuring detailed QA of their deliverables and prompt resolution of any defects or non-compliance issues.
• Project Collaboration: Work as part of a project team to deliver solutions, covering analysis, implementation, configuration, testing, demonstration, and service transition.
• Testing & Standards Compliance: Collaborate with the Enterprise Testing team to ensure project testing aligns with company practices and standards.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to drive business and technology innovation.
• Agile Framework: Work within the Scrum Agile development framework.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the business strategy, business plan, and latest industry trends.

Your Profile:

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in application databases, data catalogs, and BI tools within a Scrum framework.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse concepts, with competence in SQL, particularly AWS Redshift, Lake Formation, and Glue.
  • Experience with Informatica is an advantage.
  • Experience with data cataloging, ETL, and BI tool development (e.g., asset curation, lineage, metadata and data quality management, Cognos, Alteryx, QlikSense, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, JSON, RESTful APIs, and/or web services development.
  • Understanding of cloud, DevOps, and mobile development is advantageous.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and AWS cloud platform is beneficial.
