ESG Finance Controlling Manager (MNC)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ESG Finance Controlling Manager to join our client - a global leading consumer business. This role is crucial for managing and integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into their financial controlling processes, ensuring the company's sustainability goals are met while maintaining financial excellence.

Position Responsibilities

ESG Integration:

• Develop and implement strategies to integrate ESG factors into financial controlling processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure ESG considerations are embedded in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, ensuring alignment with the company's sustainability goals.

Financial Controlling:

• Oversee financial controlling activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of ESG initiatives on financial performance.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and reporting standards.
• Prepare and present detailed ESG financial reports to senior management.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage ESG-related financial projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to promote ESG initiatives and best practices.
• Provide training and support to finance and other relevant teams on ESG financial controls.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or financial controlling, with a focus on ESG integration.
• Strong understanding of ESG principles and how they impact financial performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant ESG regulations and reporting standards.
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese
