Job Description

We are a multinational company with multiple hotel operations and property investments in Asia, Europe and USA. In Hong Kong, we operate 2 hotels and manage rental business.

The jobholder reports to Group CFO, leads group accounting and reporting and work effectively with his/her peers who are hotel finance directors in various countries.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead rollout of Group Accounting policy, provide guidelines on accounting treatments
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting (month-end closing, global reporting packages, financial statement review, accounting schedules) and daily accounting operation
• Liaise with external auditors and tax representatives in annual audit and tax filing
• Lead internal audit assignments
• Lead management report – variance analysis
• Lead group budget and forecast process
• Take on various finance projects when required, for example, upgrade on our accounting system
• Drive innovation in the team, and strive for continuous improvement of systems and processes

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent with CPA qualification
• 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 year of inhouse managerial experience 
• Strong knowledge in IFRS and statutory reporting requirement
• Strong leadership experience: ability to strategize, communicate with peers in hotels effectively, and motivate team to perform
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, strong analytical abilities 
• Good written and verbal communication skills, fluency in both English and Chinese
• Experience in Infor SunSystems is advantageous
