The Job

• To conduct ongoing assessments on the operations of MPF trustees and their service providers with different regulatory tools such as on/off-site reviews and thematic examinations;
• To assist in investigating and liaising with trustees to follow up issues identified from suspected noncompliances, complaint cases and enquiries;
• To assist in the preparation of action plans, reports and other documentation in relation to supervision of MPF trustees; 
• To compile survey statistics and data, and conduct analysis for the purpose of management information and intelligence gathering; and
• To perform other duties as assigned.

The Person 

• A recognized degree or equivalent;
• At least four years (for Senior Officer post) / two years (for Officer post) of relevant working experience in regulatory compliance, retirement schemes / pensions, banking, insurance or accounting / auditing; relevant experience gained from financial institutions, financial regulators or reputable consultancy / advisory firms is preferable;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Able to systematically collect and organize data on problems encountered, and logically analyze it for making good judgement;
• Responsive to new demands by generating ideas and solutions with practical details;
• Mature, agile, proactive, open-minded and a good team player; and
• Strong sense of mission and desire to develop a career in regulatory role.

Remuneration Package
A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
