Job Description

Position : Assistant Manager, Marketing

Location : Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying Travel Opportunities

  • Deep dive into market insights to identify trends and opportunities in outbound travel.
  • Analyze customer preferences and travel behavior to determine the latest trend during outbound travel to popular destinations.

Product Travel Initiatives

  • Identify gaps in the product portfolio and propose new offerings to capture market share based on the latest travel trends.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to assess the suitability of current products and enhance promotion activities to align with campaign objectives.
  • Initiate discussions with Business Development to explore and develop innovative travel products for targeted travel destinations.

Collaboration with BD and Marketing

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to understand their existing product lineup and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Communicate effectively with the Marketing team to align promotional campaigns with identified travel opportunities.
  • Facilitate collaborative discussions between Business Development and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of promotional strategies.

Promotional Activities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the promotion of selected travel products.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with the identified outbound travel trends.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Market Analysis and Reporting

  • Regularly analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare reports on the performance of marketing initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Support any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Senior Head of Marketing

What Will You'll Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in all rounded digital marketing roles or specializing in outbound marketing, particularly within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Open to in-house or agency marketers who have relevant exposure about the travel industry with strong connections.
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Keen aptitude for generating fresh ideas and employing innovative approaches when devising marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese & Mandarin
  • Aggressive personality, Energetic with a passion for driving with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Passionate about travel, love sharing, and has a sense of the development trend, and a good understanding of the Travel industry/Tourism.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as the Manager position.
