We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Studies:
Assistant Academic Support Officer (Human Resources) (N&HS) (Ref: 24001J2)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing general support to the daily operations and ad-hoc activities of the School of Nursing and Health Studies;
- Providing administrative support for staff recruitments and appointments at the school level, including but not limited to Research & Development staff, temporary/part-time teaching/non-teaching staff, student trainees;
- Handling freelance appointments and payments;
- Handling data input and maintaining an effective database and filing system;
- Providing secretarial service to committees and meetings;
- Providing customer/counter service and handling enquiries; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Nursing and Health Studies or his/her nominee.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 or above in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages, Mathematics;
- Preferably with at least one year of relevant administrative experience in tertiary education sector;
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua);
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and be a good team player with proactive and mature personality; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
