Job Description
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and overseeing the delivery of services. You will provide technical remote support and training for all technology equipment, including PCs, Macs, printers, and video conference systems. Additionally, you will manage the inventory of hardware and software, handle the systems' life cycle, and coordinate vendor contracts related to end-user equipment. You will administer accounts and resources through Active Directory and have familiarity with cloud-based solutions like Microsoft Office 365 and Azure. Understanding basic networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, will be essential. Incident support, change management, and providing end-user support and troubleshooting for software applications and computer hardware will also be part of your responsibilities. You will perform VIP or ad-hoc tasks as assigned, log information into the ticketing system, and report to your technical supervisor while managing duties with proper time management.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in IT, with desktop support experience being a plus.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in the IT environment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Availability to work occasionally on weekends or outside regular business hours, if required.
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Certification in a relevant area can be a plus.
Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Please note that as a Service Delivery Engineer, you will also possess the skills and attributes of a Service Delivery Manager, such as maintaining positive customer relationships, managing conflicts, reducing costs without compromising customer satisfaction, and collaborating with team leaders to address service-related issues. This combined role allows you to not only provide technical support but also contribute to the overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.
