Job Description

 Assistant IT Project Manager 

 

We are looking for an Assistant IT Project Manager to plan, execute and to monitor the IT set up of critical events across APAC. He/ she will be reporting to the APAC Head of IT, and act as the bridge among internal commercial departments and the IT department, to ensure smooth project execution and development.

 

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH

  • Configure in-house system: Utilize your technical expertise to configure the in-house system for sales events, ensuring optimal functionality and usability.
  • Escalation of unresolved issues: Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team members, such as software developers, to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Facilitate effective communication: Collaborate with multiple departments to gather event requirements and ensure smooth coordination and execution across different regions.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback: Offer timely and accurate feedback and guidance to users, addressing their technical issues and providing solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Operation support: Extend operational support to the IT team and other departments, assisting with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Documentation preparation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including event requirements, system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user guides, ensuring clear and concise information for future reference.
  • Non-working hours support: Be available to provide support or standby during non-working hours, as needed, to address critical technical issues and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Technical issue resolution: Communicate with users through a series of actions, such as remote assistance or step-by-step guidance, until their technical issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Ad-hoc duties and projects: Support and contribute to ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive successful outcomes.

 

 

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Hands on Project management experience gained in vendor environment preferable 
  • Diploma or above in Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Strong interest in various web systems and other tech products, demonstrating a solid understanding of their functionalities and capabilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues, providing effective solutions to users.
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and identify root causes of technical problems.
  • Experience with APAC project is a plus.
  • Experience with the ecommerce platform Shopify is a plus.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
