• Responsible for new business development and monitor the retention of renewal business in General Insurance segment
• Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and explore new business opportunities
• Assist in executing marketing strategies and business plans for achieving business targets
• Support the team to drive business strategies and ensure that strategies are monitored and executed
• Ensure compliance expectations are fully met
• Provide responses and daily service to insurance intermediaries within the service standard
• Implement prudent underwriting practice under authority limit, in line with company's underwriting philosophies
• Underwriting support and provision of local market and risk knowledge to the cluster underwriting team
• Perform underwriting assessment on new and renewal business
• Align the underwriting profit in accordance with the business plan
• Ad hoc project as required
  

Requirement

• Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies
• Possessing or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in GI - Commercial Lines products
• Proactive & able to work independently
• Able to work in fast paced environment independently, strong sense of responsibility, detailed minded, sound judgement, good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
• Well versed in Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
