A well known clothing brand with stable business growth globally, is seeking an experienced accountant, to supervise a small team, and oversee daily accounting functions in overseas countries.

About the role

In this position, you will lead month-end closing process, prepare tax computations, manage a small team to ensure daily accounting functions are performed effectively. Your expertise in financial reporting, budget planning, and internal controls will be instrumental in driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing financial operations in overseas countries
• Managing a small team to perform daily accounting functions and liaising with external parties, such as auditors, bankers, and vendors
• Leading the month-end closing process and delivering timely monthly reports
• Facilitating efficient communication and collaboration with local support and commercial functions
• Supporting forecast and budget planning efforts.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls, identifying areas for improvement
• Handling tax computation and assisting in tax planning

Requirements

• Degree holder in accounting or relevant
• At least 8 years of relevant background, ideally with previous people leading experience
• Background from retail, logistics, or FMCG industry is highly preferred
• Auditing experience is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel
• Fluency in English and Chinese is required for this position
