Job Description
OFFICE OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES
Executive Assistant (two posts) (Ref. 240716004-IE)
Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) assist in providing administrative support for the planning and provision of courses meeting the General University Requirements (GUR);
(b) assist in preparing reports on GUR;
(c) assist in maintaining the office website and database system;
(d) assist in organising events such as seminars and workshops;
(e) assist in liaising with internal units for the administration of GUR; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree;
(b) relevant post-qualification working experience, preferably gained in tertiary institutions;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) good computer skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of database management and e-Learning being an advantage; and
(e) good interpersonal and communication skills.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written and computer tests.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
