Salary:
HK$17,286 – HK$26,908 (HGPS point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist in day-to-day operational and supervisory function at Hospital level in the following areas:
1.
Provide patient services, including patient registration, enquiries and counter services.
2.
Handle the request for release of patient information, including medical report, data access requests and etc.
3.
Handle health information and records, including record retrieval, return, filing, record keeping and other logistic support or tasks related to record service.
4.
Perform death documentation service.
5.
Provide administrative support to the Department, including compilation of statistics and management reports, and taking meeting notes, etc.
6.
Coordinate and assist in hospital special projects.
7.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1.
(a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;
2.
Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.
Experience in providing administrative support in hospital preferred.
2.
Knowledge of common office automation, PC applications and HA IT systems, including but not limited to Medical Records Tracing System (MRTS), Out-patient Appointment System (OPAS) and Inpatient Administrative System (IPAS).
3.
Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement.
4.
Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
5.
Relevant experience.
2. Serving staff who have completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years' clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
3. The selected candidate may be required to perform 24-hours shift duty and to perform duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies.
