HKIA has been the world's busiest cargo airport, handling largest air cargo throughput in the recent 13 years.   To fortify the airport's leading position and to better serve the Greater Bay Area ("GBA") air cargo market, the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is undertaking a strategic initiative to develop the HKIA Logistics Park ("HKIALP") in Dongguan.  The HKIALP will be a cargo extension of HKIA, providing streamlined, efficient and cost-competitive air cargo services to GBA cargo customers.  The HKIALP will be connected by sea transport to HKIA, where a dedicated cargo pier and a transshipment facility will be developed.

The HKIALP adopts relevant air cargo security regulations and industry practices of Hong Kong, while the park embraces operators from Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate, enhance and execute aviation security regime in collaboration with the relevant authority
• Carry out audits and enforce improvement measures to ensure aviation security compliance of operators and HKIALP as a whole.
• Derive and continuously enhance customs clearance processes and facilitation for efficient operation of HKIALP
• Formulate and implement plans to expand the HKIA cargo air network

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in business administration, logistics, transport, aviation, supply chain or other related disciplines
• At least 8 years of total working experience in aviation, logistics or related company with good knowledge in logistics/ air cargo business
• Good planning, analytical and problem solving skills with proven co-ordination and project management capability
• Proactive with good interpersonal skills
• Experience in Mainland related projects is an advantage
• Excellent communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
