HKIA has been the world's busiest cargo airport, handling largest air cargo throughput in the recent 12 years.   To fortify the airport's leading position and to better serve the Greater Bay Area ("GBA") market, the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is undertaking a strategic initiative to develop the HKIA Logistics Park ("HKIALP") in Dongguan.  The HKIALP will be a cargo extension of HKIA, providing streamlined, efficient and cost-competitive air cargo services to GBA cargo customers.  The HKIALP will be connected by sea transport to HKIA, where a dedicated cargo pier and a transshipment facility will be developed.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal technical teams to procure, lead and manage consultants and works contractors to design and develop the HKIA Logistics Park (HKIALP) in Dongguan.              
• Conduct technical feasibility studies for various facilities in HKIALP
• Contemplate the operation and development models for various logistics facilities and infrastructure in HKIALP.  
• Collaborate with technical teams to complete the design and development of the intermodal cargo pier and transshipment handling facility at HKIA
• Formulate operation model and procure operators for the transshipment handling facility

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in business administration, logistics, transport, aviation, supply chain, engineering or other related disciplines
• At least 8 years of total working experience in aviation, logistics or related company with good knowledge in air cargo business
• Good experience and/or knowledge in facility planning and project management
• Experience in Mainland related projects is an advantage
• Strong planning and formulation capability with proven co-ordination and project management skills
• Fast-learning, highly analytical and able to work under pressure
• Proactive and well-organized with good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
