What will you do?
In this position, you will join our growing Hong Kong Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects.
The recruited Structural Engineers are to be deployed under a body-shopped Structural Engineers to the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) and the job duties included:
  • responsible to the Contract Manager or his representatives, or Director’s Representative (DR) or his representatives of HKHA when so required to work for HA contracts or projects. 
  • may be required to represent the HKHA and/or the Contract Manager.
  • to carry out structural design and/or conduct site supervision for the projects, and/or other duties, under direct instruction and supervision of the HKHA, or DR or his representatives.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:

  • to be a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers, UK or the Institution of Civil Engineers, UK or equivalent; and
  • to have a minimum of two-year professional working experience in design and/or site supervision of high-rise building after obtaining the above qualification; and
  • to be a Registered Professional Engineer in Civil or Structural discipline registered under the Engineers Registration Ordinance; and
  • to have obtained during the Period of Service a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) issued according to Section 6BA(2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertaking Ordinance or equivalent.
