Our client is a well-established international law firm whose headquarters is in the UK. They are looking for an HR Officer to assist the team with all-round HR operations, recruitment coordination, C&B, new joiners and leavers logistics, law society compliance etc. Working closely with the manager, this is a great opportunity for legal HR professionals to learn through on-the-job training, polish their skills and further develop as HR generalist. 

KEY JOB SCOPE

• Work closely with the team on recruitment, compensation & benefits, and other HR administration to ensure smooth operations of the firm
• Handle end-to-end recruitment process including graduate and lateral recruitment
• Liaise with external background check vendor to complete onboarding process
• Handle final payment, MPF and medical insurance enrollment/ termination, and other C&B administration
• Handle Law Society of Hong Kong compliance and related CPD applications
• Consolidate data and compile related HR reports
• Maintain HR database and process procedures in relation to joiners, leavers, transfers, secondment etc.
• Assist in electronic and paper filing as appropriate or other HR projects when needed

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED 

• Bachelor’s degree holder
• 3-5 years of related HR experience in legal firms is a must, local law firm candidates are also welcome
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
• Well-organized, flexible, detail-minded, willing to learn, proactive
• Strong communication and time management skills, team player
