Department/Hospital: Community Rehabilitation Service Support Center, Queen Elizabeth Hospital 
Pay:     HK$24,191 - HK$28,623 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities: 
1. Design, develop and test new rehab technology or assistive technology devices via software development (innovating Mobile App/ PC application).
2. Innovate and create rehabilitation-based training software via VR technology
3. Conduct and carry out research experiments on new devices or products and ensure they work properly under various environments.
4. Maintain thorough design and development documentations.
5. Coordinate with other teams of related disciplines such as healthcare professionals, researchers within and external for the product development group.
6. Assist therapists in supporting patient services on technology utilization.
7. To help with the repair and maintenance of rehab / medical equipment in the Center.
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Entry Requirements:
1. University Graduates with experience; OR
2. F.5 / S.5 with
(a) HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language; OR
(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language & Chinese Language; AND
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary Subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects. 
AND diploma in a specialized function AND relevant experience.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. (a) Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Science; OR
    (b) Diploma Graduates in a specialized function with experience.
2. Proven experience working with and commitment to software development (mobile App/PC application).
3. Experience in VR development (Unity vs Unreal Engine).
4. Demonstrated programing skills to high level with experience of multiple language and platform (C++, Python, SQL) with emphasis on analysis of clinical or health data (Matlab, SPSS).
5. Experience in database administration and maintenance.
6. Strong analytical skills with strong technical proficiency.
7. Possess caring and empathetic attitude towards patients.
8. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
9. Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good player.
10. Be responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
