Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Hong Kong office:

Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager – Controllership Team (9 months contract role)

We will count on you to:

• Responsibilities include overseeing day to day accounting functions and processes as well as reporting of financial information.
• Constructs monthly, quarterly and annual management reports. Ensures accuracy, timeliness and the general integrity of the financial reporting function and related reports.
• Assists with the maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment including general adherence and knowledge of SOX controls, SSAE16, and internal audit procedures, as applicable.
• Liaises with external auditor for statutory audit process and arrange for tax filings.
• Manages cashflow, treasury and funds arrangement.
• Participates in projects affecting the department and its processes.
• Adheres to the accounting principles and practices and regulatory environment and delivers these principles and practices in application of daily work.
• Ensures daily management activities are conducted in compliance with internal and external control requirements.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
• Qualified CPA
• At least 4 years working experience gained from sizable accounting firms or commercial in MNC or sizable companies
• Ability to work and lead independently with excellent communication and organization skills
• Be a self-starter with a positive attitude and dedication to solving issue
• Work under pressure and adaptable to change environment
