Job Description
Department/Hospital: Patient and Community Relations Department, Tseung Kwan O Hospital
Pay: HK$24,191 to HK$28,623 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the operations of Patient Relations functions, including handling of hotline, written and walk-in patient/public appreciation, enquiries, feedback and complaints, and provide clerical support to handling of medico-legal cases.
2. Provide administrative support and management of respective database, filing system, record keeping, procurement, training programs, meetings arrangement and minutes taking.
3. Prepare statistic and management reports on regular and ad hoc basis.
4. Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating the department’s guidelines and manual under instruction from supervisors.
5. Supervise and mentor the junior clerical staff as the clerk in-charge in Patient Relations Office.
6. Prepare duty roster of Patient Relations Office.
7. Maintain the intranet webpage of Patient Relations Office.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. University Graduates with experience; OR
2. Completed F.5 / S.5 with
i) HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language; OR
ii) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language & Chinese Language; AND
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary Subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject
to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in other Language subjects;
or equivalent;
AND diploma in a specialized function AND relevant experience.
Preferred Attributes:
1. Relevant exposure/working experience in complaint handling, public relations or customer services.
2. Good PC skills in MS Office.
3. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
