Job Overview
This role manages the Information Technology department in developing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:
- Understand business needs, prioritise requirements and liaise with technical staff and vendors to achieve timely and cost-effective solutions. Liaise with the software vendors to ensure solutions are deployed as per guidelines and business requirements.
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of hotel application systems, including planning, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
- Keep up to date with new technology developments and evaluate their suitability for new initiatives.
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- Liaise with Security, Audit and Operations teams to ensure proper measures are in place.
- Design and ensure a secure, reliable, scalable, compliant and efficient design of systems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to manage contracts, service levels and system integrations.
Requirements
Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:
The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):
- 7-8 years of working experience with IT applications management in leading, developing or supporting large-scale systems, preferably in hospitality or international-scale B2C industry.
- Depending on relevant experience and expertise, will be considered for a manager or senior manager role.
- A recognized University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Capability in leading IT applications initiatives in complex and dynamic environment with proven experiences in managing key stakeholders across the organization and third-party vendors.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
- Good team player and self-starter who is resourceful, energetic, confident, and guest-oriented.
The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience in hands-on technical roles in application development management, together with IT networking / infrastructure, techniques, risks, best practices, security / change management principles.
- Proficiency in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, AliCloud, Cloud application systems and the deployment for all regions.
- Ability to articulate especially with management in a non-technical language.
