Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies and policies to optimize the supply chain and distribution processes
  • Oversee the logistics department, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for improving logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of logistics activities with other business operations
  • Manage the logistics budget and monitor costs to maximize profitability
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and other key supply chain partners
  • Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Hire, train, and manage the logistics team, including setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior logistics or operations management role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful logistics strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership abilities 
  • Being the commercial lead to sell the logistics solutions 
  • Capable to implement the logistics solutions from the aspect of physical operation and system integration
  • Thorough understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles
  • Knowledge of logistics software ( e.g., WMS ), technology, and industry best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Certified in a relevant logistics or supply chain certification program (e.g., APICS, CSCMP)
  • Experience in a global, multi-site logistics environment
  • Proficient in utilizing data analysis and visualization tools
