Responsibilities:

• Oversee laboratory operations (administration and management) and maintain workflow of research activities, provide support to researchers.
• Facilitate necessary maintenance and installation of equipment. Maintain equipment inventory.
• Maintain supply chain of laboratory materials and supplies, including purchasing, logistics, receiving, booking and record, storage and disposal. Manage shipment to/from other countries to facilitate research projects.
• Monitor and provide laboratory safety, environmental protection, operation and/or other related training to all staff. Maintain training records.
• Liaise and coordinate with HKSTP for laboratory safety and laboratory maintenance.
• Establish and maintain laboratory documentations, including standard operating procedures (SOP), records, certificates, test reports, etc.

Manage laboratory waste according to safety and environmental protection regulations.

Requirements:

• At least master degree in Science or equivalent disciplines
• With 2 years relevant working experiences, previous lab management experience and/or GLP knowledge is an advantage
• Organized and with strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Chinese and English and interpersonal skills
