Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To lead the Commercial Department to develop a reputable product which is attractive to customer and sustainable in the market.
  • Base on the business development, to cultivate customer groups of the best value for Company.
  • Nurture a goal-oriented Commercial team with aspiration of excellence and to set up succession plan to ensure the continuation of development to the Company.   
  • Manage functions of Revenue Management, Pricing and Tariff and Fare Management in Commercial Department. 
  • Have thorough understanding of the primary market and customer base to lead business development.
  • Organize business plan to build reputable airline product with consistency and integrity which customer is willing to pay for.
  • Enhance structure of the department and evaluate employee placement to attain the most effective workforce that meets Company’s strategic plan.
  • Develop systematic work procedure, team coordination and job expectation between offices in the Commercial Department.
  • Work with senior management to design revenue targets, route plan and to formulate work schedule to achieve corporate goals.
  • Motivate, train and develop employee to build teamwork environment in the Commercial Department.
  • Oversee evaluation system to reward fairly employees’ base on their performance.
  • To cultivate a dedicated team in department and to build long term succession.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Aviation or Business Management related discipline; 
  • Extensive airline experience with a minimum of 20 years in Airline corporate management job. Experience in other airlines is an advantage.
  • In depth knowledge and experience in international passenger revenue management system, class management, price management and freight rates etc. 
  • Excellent management and communication skill to manage cross culture employees, external customer, travel industry, government tourism offices, press and media.
  • Able to represent Company to handle publicity and press conference. 
  • Strong leadership to direct functions within the Commercial Department.
