Strategic Procurement Services (STS)

STS as a key driver of the bank's day-to-day supply chain, delivers commercial value in all aspects of procurement, we understand the bank's operational and procurement needs, and structure comprehensive solutions that ensure efficient and excellent operations.

Our team covers 3 key functions:

  • Sourcing - Manages and oversees the end-to-end sourcing process, including sourcing potential third party options, negotiating contracts, and managing awards. By analyzing the bank's spending patterns and developing a sourcing strategy that leverages purchasing power, the team always identifies cost-effective or saving initiatives.
  • Procurement Operations & Accounts Payable - Support the payments to third-party suppliers and internal expense reimbursement diligently to prevent reputational, regulatory, and financial repercussions.
  • Third Party Risk Management - Manages risks associated with third parties throughout the lifecycle by identifying, assessing, and managing them.

If you join STS, you will contribute in the engagement of various suppliers and demonstrate your abilities. You will have the opportunity to train as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the bank. You will meet and work with our Global Team on sourcing strategies, risk and control monitoring, improvement initiatives, enhancement and project implementation.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Sourcing Manager.

Principal responsibilities 

  • Support sourcing processes, RFP preparation, financial analysis, negotiation, evaluation and contracting through the end-to-end Source-to-Contract processes
  • Lead the overall RFx process for assigned spend categories
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plan to manage costs and deliver value 
  • Identify and drive category opportunities by working closely with business units across the bank or global level when applicable
  • Identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities and drive implementation
  • Perform ad-hoc assignment by Head of Procurement

Requirements

  • Tertiary education is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of solid procurement experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently with internal business units and external suppliers
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to drive collaboration and support issue resolution
  • Able to work in fast-paced and high pressured environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Fluent speak and writing in English
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior role.
