HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
- Identify and recommend the latest MICE venues, products, and experiences, working closely with local and overseas travel trade partners, service providers, Business Development teams, and worldwide offices to cater to the needs of event organizers/participants.
- Implement effective familiarization programs and study missions to showcase Hong Kong’s unrivaled strengths as a premier MICE destination.
- Organize both overseas and local trade promotion events to promote Hong Kong as the preferred MICE destination and its latest offerings.
- Develop, implement, and strengthen hospitality programs for MICE visitors, such as special offers from trade partners, cultural performances, souvenirs, and other privileges to enrich MICE visitors’ experiences.
- Work closely with Business Development teams and MICE organizers to coordinate and execute special support for eligible MICE groups, such as financial and in-kind offers, by cross-checking event details, attendance records, and relevant supporting documentations.
- Consolidate and analyze feedback and reports on trade promotions and familiarization programs, assess effectiveness, and recommend improvements for future activities.
- Maintain close communication with Hong Kong travel trade partners through organized trade activities.
- Answer inquiries and effectively assist overseas trade partners in promoting Hong Kong through trade activities, co-operate programs, and tactical campaigns.
- Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University degree holder with minimum 8 years’ experience, preferably in tourism and travel trade industry
- Sound knowledge of Hong Kong and global tourism
- Excellent project management
- Strong communications, presentation and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Responsible, mature and able to work independently
